Year 8 Art COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Year 8 Art is primarily a practical subject. Students are assessed against the four Visual Arts Curriculum Strands: Practical Knowledge, Developing Ideas, Communicating and Interpreting and the Visual Arts in Context. WHAT WILL I LEARN?You will study and observe a range of subject matter from which you will make a range of artworks using a variety of media. The course focuses on using artist models as a way to help you develop your ideas and skills.
You will learn how art works are made and the processes involved in their making. In your course you will undertake a project where you will develop skills in drawing and painting. WHERE DOES THIS COURSE LEAD?
