Life Skills

What will I learn?
Our community expects schools to develop life skills in our students. Over the year we will look at a variety of areas such as: 
  • Mindfulness.
  • Study Skills - in preparation for examinations. 
  • Financial Literacy, budgeting skills etc. 
  • CVs. 
  • Sex education. 
  • Career pathways. 
How will I learn? 
In addition to classroom activities, you will be presented to by a number of outside speakers speaking on their field of expertise.

What should I have done already? 
This is a compulsory, one hour a week course for all Year 11 students. 

Where does this course lead? 
This course enables students to gain skills and knowledge to make informed decisions in the future.
