Sport & Recreation

Sport and Recreation is a course that caters for students across all levels of the senior school. This course gives the students an opportunity to be physically active in a variety of contexts. Its main focus revolves around self-responsibility and student leadership. The students make decisions relating activity choice, setting up of equipment, organization, and officiating duties. Physical activities include but are not limited to;
  • Table Tennis
  • Dodgeball
  • Turbo Touch
  • Lacrosse
  • Ultimate Frisbee
  • Flags
  • Bowling
  • Chess and other board games
  • Soccer
Fun and enjoyment are top level priorities within this course. As a result, there are no theoretical aspects associated and therefore no NCEA credits available.
