COURSE TITLE:
Year 10 Economics & Business
COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This introductory course covers the basic concepts of Economics in the first term and the during the second term you will experience setting up and running a simple business to raise funds for yourself and a charity of your choice. Much of your learning will be in a group environment. This is a half year course. COURSE COSTS:There may be a small amount of share capital required when you set up your group business.
WHAT WILL I LEARN?- Various aspects of economic decision making, economic management and economic participation.
- You will undertake an enterprise group project involving development of a product or a service you could sell.
- You will also learn about aspects of share market trading or another interest project.
WHERE DOES THIS COURSE LEAD?
This course is a good grounding for Level 1 Economics and Business.
